boys team charity - Prospective Member

Dear prospective Boys Team Charity League member,

Thank you for your interest in joining boys team charity (btc). btcCamelback is a volunteer service organization dedicated to developing an altruistic spirit in young men through active participation of parents and sons in philanthropic projects in their community.

Please note to be eligible for membership in the Camelback League, you MUST live in 85018, 85251 or 85257 zip code.

We ask that you sit with your family to discuss if you are ready to make the commitment to our chapter. The charities that we serve depend on our young men and their parents to serve them, as we have obligations to these organizations.

Please note that sports, family obligations, volunteer hours required at school, travel, etc., do not excuse the hours that you are committed to complete with btcCamelback. Kindly make sure this 6-year commitment is what you and your son want to do.

Hours Requirements:
Annual minimum Philanthropy Service Hours requirements for both boys and parent(s):
Grade 7, 8, & 9........................15 hours each*
Grade 10, 11, & 12..................10 hours each*

Annual minimum League Hours requirements for both boys & parent(s):
6 hours minimum each* (earned by attending general or grade level meetings as mentioned above).

Volunteer requirements: btc is a volunteer organization that is operated by parent volunteers. Parents are expected to participate with their sons at our charities, as well as volunteer at least one year in a leadership role within your time of membership.

Financial Requirements: Each league has annual membership dues ($150) that are used to cover the costs of operating the league.
Sponsorship: All new btc members are sponsored by current btc members. If your son does not have a sponsor, we will work on finding one for him.

Membership selection:
New btc members are selected by a RANDOM draw. This membership selection is random. If there are more names than spots for a class, we will continue to pull names to add them to our waitlist.

Please note that btc membership is reviewed on an annual basis to make sure our members are completing their obligations to the Chapter.
